Kathrin introduces herself: our new performance marketing expert

Welcome graphic: Kathrin Steib, Performance Marketing, smiling, with long reddish-brown hair, glasses, a dark blazer and a striped shirt

In our latest staff interview, we’d like to introduce you to Kathrin, who joined our team in May. Kathrin works in performance marketing and brings a breath of fresh air as well as valuable experience to the team. In the interview below, you’ll find out more about her, her leisure activities and what she particularly values about her work at Nepata.

Would you like to introduce yourself?
Hello, I’m Kathrin Steib and I joined Nepata in May. Here, I’m responsible for performance marketing. I live in Ingolstadt with my family and work part-time either from the office or from home.

What do you get up to when you’re not here at Nepata?
I love being outdoors and spend a lot of time with my family and friends. In my spare time, I do yoga and enjoy going to concerts.

What’s your impression of the company so far? / What do you particularly value about Nepata as an employer?
My impression of Nepata and my colleagues so far has been very positive. I particularly appreciate the opportunity to work in a small company where you can make many decisions yourself and don’t have to wait for lengthy approval processes. This means results become visible much more quickly.

What is important to you when it comes to working with your colleagues?
A good working atmosphere is important to me, as is open communication – for example, over a coffee. Having fun at work, trust and mutual respect are also crucial for me. That way, we can achieve a lot together and enjoy our work more at the same time. 😊

Are you a morning person or do you hit the snooze button?
I’m more of a snooze-button-pusher and often leave things until the last minute, which can sometimes lead to a bit of stress.

What was the last good deed you did?
A donation to a charity.

Are you more of a ‘learning by doing’ sort of person, or do you prefer theory?
I’d say both. For some projects, good planning and theoretical preparation are essential. For others, such as online advertising campaigns, it’s often better to just give it a go and see how it goes.

If you could learn a language overnight – which one would it be and why?
I’d love to speak Spanish fluently. I’ve actually started learning Spanish once before, but gave up. If I were fluent in Spanish, it would be easier for me to travel to Spanish-speaking countries.

Here in the photos, we can see Kathrin trying out our creative technologies together with Mihail and Ääd. Kathrin’s mug has turned out really well, and the sublimated T-shirt is also impressive! We place great importance on every new employee trying out our equipment for themselves and designing their own creations. That’s the best way to get to know the products.
