The Nepata Group has been involved as an internship provider for many years, giving young talent the opportunity to gain an insight into various departments. This year, too, we are delighted to welcome another motivated intern: Peter Wagner. He is undertaking his work placement as part of his 11th year at the Scheyern Technical College (FOS) in the business stream and is gaining valuable practical experience with us. In this interview, he explains what led him to Nepata, what his first impressions have been and what particularly interests him.
About Peter: Who he is and why he’s here
Peter, would you mind introducing yourself briefly?
“Of course! My name is Peter Wagner, I’m 16 years old and I’m from Wolnzach. In my spare time, I like to play tennis or play computer games. I’m currently attending Scheyern Technical College and my aim is to complete my A-levels in the business stream.”
What made you decide to do your work placement at Nepata Vertrieb GmbH?
“I often volunteer at the Wolnzach supermarket, which is how I first came across Nepata. I’d already found the company fascinating and had been keen to do an internship here anyway. Thanks to the opportunity offered by the FOS, I’ve now been able to fulfil this wish.”
Expectations & Objectives
What are you hoping to gain from your work placement with us?
“I’d like to gain an in-depth insight into the company and gain some practical experience. I’m particularly interested in how processes work in a company like Nepata.”
Are there any specific skills or areas you’d particularly like to explore in more depth here?
“Yes, particularly my knowledge of sales and marketing. I’m also keen to learn more about the technical side of the products, especially online marketing.”
How do you envisage an ideal working day?
“Varied and educational – ideally with tasks that combine both technical and commercial aspects.”
First impressions of Nepata
What was your first impression of the team and the company culture?
“Very positive! All the staff are open and helpful. You’re integrated into the team straight away and feel at home.”
Has there been anything so far that’s pleasantly surprised you?
“Yes! I was impressed by how many different machines there are and how modern the work processes are. It’s also great to see how well the team works together.”
What challenges do you see for yourself in the coming weeks?
“Definitely getting to grips with the various processes quickly. I want to develop a deep understanding of the products and sales, and that naturally takes time and practice.”

What do you like doing in your spare time?
“I like playing tennis or meeting up with friends. I’m also a keen gamer.”
Is there a funny or surprising fact about you that we should know?
“Yes, I’m absolutely obsessed with motorbikes and cars! I can recognise the make of many cars just by looking at their rear lights. I’m also particularly good at one video game and could, in theory, play at a professional level.”
If you could choose a superpower for your day-to-day work, what would it be and why?
“Definitely super-speed! That would let me complete all my tasks in record time and always stay one step ahead.”
